Pc Cannot Recognize Hard Drive


Reply Adil April 26, 2016 at 6:18 pm My laptop was not detecting my external hard drive in File Explorer, so I went into disk management where a pop up asked The culprit could be the cable or the usb controller within the enclosure. I cannot be sure though - it might be a faulty product. I forgot to mention... COULD YOU PLS HELP? I thought all data lost.

I am having the exact same issue as you and haven't found any fix. The problem is that when I plug it in it is first recognized (at least it sees something) and then it goes away (with the corresponding sound). COULD YOU PLS HELP?
